About the Role#

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape how engineering teams experience DevZero. Our platform helps teams optimize their Kubernetes infrastructure, which means a lot of dense, data-heavy interfaces: cost dashboards, resource-usage visualizations, optimization workflows, and configuration flows that need to feel simple despite the complexity underneath.

You'll be designing for a deeply technical audience of platform engineers, SREs, and engineering leaders. That's why we're specifically looking for someone who has designed developer tools or technical products before.

What You'll Do#

  • Own product design across the DevZero platform: dashboards, optimization workflows, data visualization, and configuration flows
  • Turn complex Kubernetes and cost data into interfaces that are clear at a glance and deep when you need them to be
  • Evolve and maintain our design system together with our frontend engineers
  • Work directly with engineering and product to take features from concept to shipped
  • Talk to the people who use our product and validate designs against their real workflows
  • Pitch in on marketing and brand work from time to time (website, launch visuals)

What We're Looking For#

  • 5+ years of product design experience
  • Experience designing developer tools or technical products for a technical audience
  • A strong portfolio showing data-heavy interfaces, dashboards, or complex workflows
  • Fluency across the full design process: research, flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and prototyping
  • Comfort working directly with engineers and shipping iteratively
  • Clear communication and the ability to explain your design decisions

Nice to Have#

  • You've worked on products like Datadog, Sentry, Grafana, New Relic, or Vercel, or other infrastructure and developer-platform tools
  • Experience designing data visualization
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, or FinOps concepts
  • You've been an early or founding designer at a startup
